In an effort to drive Cambodia tourism, the Cambodia government plans to launch a new national Cambodia airline according to eTravelBalckboard.

Cambodia attained over $1 billion in revenues from Cambodia tourism last year and expects to double that number to $2 billion in revenues from Cambodia tourism in 2007.

With Royal Air Cambodge (RAC) bankrupt, it is paramount that Cambodia launches a new successful national Cambodia airline if the country wants to compete effectively with its neighbors, Thailand and Vietnam, in the Southeast Asian tourism market.
