So far this year, Cambodia has seen $861 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) according to the recent United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) report as cited by XinHua News.
The breakdown of total Cambodia investment thus far this year is as follows:
- $56 million in agriculture
- $249 million in industry and manufacturing
- $934 million in tourism
- $572 million U.S. dollars of investment in infrastructure and service
